Potentially Exciting Changes at Flowers McEwan

We continue to be grateful to you for your continued business. We do not take lightly the trust you put in us as we seek to provide counsel and advice to guide you through the decision-making involved in your financial planning.

We spend a great deal of time thinking about sustaining the health of our clients’ finances, and a significant part of that is planning a secure and sustainable future for Flowers McEwan itself. We want to ensure a robust base from which to provide high quality financial planning advice to our clients and their families long into the future.

Although the underlying principles for the financial and investment advice we give remain constant, systems and products are always changing, as is the business environment. Therefore, we regularly re-think our business strategy in order to embrace new technology and update best practice. So, at the start of 2023 we retained the services of a business consultant to help us plan for the firm’s future.

We do this with three core aims. They are our red lines really: (1) to ensure ongoing high-quality advice and service to our clients; (2) an excellent working environment and ethos for our staff team; and (3) a recognition of the importance and value of the ethically-orientated work that we do.

We are coming to the end of that exercise and will write to you in the coming months with our conclusions. We are currently exploring what looks like a great way to achieve our aims and we look forward to telling you all about it in the near future.
